Creating Texts in the Digital Age 

The development of technology - starting in the 1960s and continuing today - has led to a shift in how we communicate with one another. Effective communication is no longer reliant on alphabetic texts or through speech. Instead, we have become increasingly prone to communication through a visual lens. This website examines the many forms of writing and how those forms have evolved alongside the rise of digital mediums, including the blogosphere and various social media platforms. In particular, it focuses on how we, as teachers, can effectively integrate multimodal writing within the classroom.
